Meet our Pastors 

The Pastors of Growth Temple Ministries: Stephen & Miriam Lyons

At Growth Temple Ministries, we love our Pastors and their family. In return they show us they love us by serving, praying, listening, giving and being there for us. They are an awesome amazing duo.

Pastor Lyons is not your everyday, ordinary pastor. He's not a third or fourth generation preacher and doesn't hold any degrees in the area of ministry.

While in the Louisville jail, Pastor Lyons accepted Jesus into his life as his Lord and Savior and was soon called into the ministry. After several remarkable moves of God, Pastor Lyons was released from all state correctional facilities. Through this ministry the Lord allowed him to see so many saved and set free from various bondages.

Under the leading of the Holy Spirit in August 2015, Pastor Lyons' Growth Temple Ministries congregation merged with the Liberty Worship Center giving birth to the Unity Worship Center. As of January 1st, 2025, we will return to our roots by renaming the church Growth Temple Ministries.

Pastor Lyons currently serves as a member of the Church of God of KY State Youth Board. He has been a spokesperson for Kentucky drug court as well as helping felons regain their right to vote.

Pastor Lyons has a passion for at risk kids and committed to seeing them grow into all they can be. He also has a heart for the people, that has lost hope and who life and others seem to have given up on.
