Laressa Beasley serves as our College and Career Director as well as Discipleship Class Leader. With her extensive experience working with youth, she was naturally drawn to this role. She accepted Christ at a young age and her passion for learning the ways of the Lord still flourishes. Laressa was raised in Maryland where she began her journey of serving the Lord. In Maryland, she served as a youth leader at various establishments. Laressa has now found herself in Lexington where she continues to serve the Lord. In 2022 she took on the role of our College and Career Director and has more recently began leading our Discipleship Class where she continues serving our Lord here at Unity Worship Center.

As the leader of our Discipleship Class, Laressa’s intention is to equip the students and church practitioners while providing support and engagement with each individual to help them fulfill the mandate to make them disciples. She believes that everyone was given something special that the Lord will use as a light to shine for someone else. In her case, her ministry is music. She uses her music to express her adoration, dedication and love for God. She hopes that someone can use her musical talent as their beacon to find Christ themselves.

Laressa hopes to lead and inspire young adults to be successful in their studies and careers while following the ways of the Lord and remaining faithful, patient and constant with their beliefs and religion. She promotes and teaches ways of keeping God in his proper place in our everyday lives. She provides an outstanding example to our teens by following the ways of the Lord in her daily life and being a beacon for God everywhere she goes.
