Sherri Latham
Sherri Lathan was born to the union of Henry and Mary Nealy of Lexington, Kentucky. Sherri Lathan is the wife of Lee Lathan of Dallas, Texas and mother of Israel Smith. She is a 1982 graduate of Bryan Station High School. Lathan attended the University of Louisville where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Correctional Administration in 1986. In 2010 Lathan earned a Master of Arts in Special Education with a certification in Learning and Behavior Disorders. Lathan’s educational background has afforded her the opportunity to have over 35 years of career service in Corrections, Social Services, and Education. Sherri Lathan currently holds a gubernatorial appointment as a Kentucky Parole Board Member. After making a confession of faith and being baptized, Lathan was fellowshipped in as member of the Main Street Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reginald Johnson. Lathan served under several pastors at Main Street Baptist Church prior uniting with Bethel Harvest Church in 2002 under the leadership of Pastors Marion and Stephanie Dalton. Many years of training and discipleship are responsible for Lathan developing a passion to spread the gospel and utilize the scripture as a tool for personal development as well an instrument to help others achieve their goals. Lathan serves as an advocate for social justice and an educator who teaches individuals how to apply the scripture to their personal lives as a catalyst to promote positive lifestyle change. Lathan joined the Leadership Team of Unity Worship Center in March of 2023 and currently serves as the Director of Ministry Operations.
